The Details

Tasting Note Dark purple with red hues. Fresh plums and subtle vanilla oak with hints of violets and floral aromas. The generous, silky palate has blueberry and plum fruit, complemented by soft, supple tannins with hints of milk chocolate and warm spices. Bright fruit flavours linger during the long finish.
Best Enjoyed With Enjoy with lightly spiced ragu or Massaman vegetable curry.
Treatment The grapes were fermented under warm temperature conditions for six to seven days, using a combination of static and rotary fermenters. This ensures that there is a balance between extracting the appropriate tannin for wine structure and retaining grape flavours and aromatics.

Accolades

Hits the mark with respect
If you are seeking an inexpensive and approachable Shiraz, this Oxford Landing hits the mark with respect. Committed to the environment, these Regenerate wines put the spotlight on the winery's approach to sustainability. The planting of drought-tolerant varieties, 100% recycling of winery waste water, the use of light weight bottles and the focus on a biodiverse vineyard are only a few of the steps taken to fulfil this intent. It's a wine with a good core of clean fruit with a flavour kick highlighted by cherries, blueberries, dark berries and ribbons of spice curling around the mouth. Some raspberry rope and chocolate tuck in behind but hitch a ride on the persistent finish. It's good stuff. Drink to three years.
